After contacting and working with Sefton Council, dropped kerbs with tactile paving were installed in Clive Rd, Clive Lodge, St John’s Rd and Kirklees Rd.
After being contacted by a member of the public, dropped kerbs with tactile paving were installed in Mellors Close, Argameols Close and the entrance to Southport Timber and the bushes outside the Thatch & Thistle that were encroaching on to the pavement were cut back.
Dropped kerbs with tactile paving and a safety rail were installed at the junction of Coronation Walk and The Promenade to make it easier and safer for wheelchair users and people who have a visual impairment to cross both roads.
