Hospital pool

After a long campaign which ran from May 2013 until November 2016, there is now a separate disabled unisex changing room in the pool area to enable disabled people to get help when their carer or companion is a different sex 

The following have also been installed in both the ladies and gents changing room; an emergency pull cord and a waste bin which can be easily opened by a disabled person in each toilet. A drop down seat with pull down arms was installed in each shower and the shower controls and the soap tray have also been dropped down so that they can be reached by a person who is seated.
