Wheelchair Model Diaries

Debbie-Lyn is reviewing pubs, restaurants and cafes in Southport and is posting her reviews on Facebook under the name of “Wheelchair Model Diaries” Steve Ashcroft is also publishing the reviews on Southport News and QLocal.

The reviews include information about the accessibility of the venue for wheelchair users. Among the areas Debbie-Lyn has looked at are parking, the entrance, the amount of room inside and toilet facilities.

SAFE will be looking into the issues of large print menus and the inclusion of access information on websites and Facebook. Our findings will be added to Debbie-Lyn’s reviews which you can find on these sub pages.
